Quality inspector Metrology
Ensure quality and precision by leading metrology operations, driving inspection excellence, supporting cross-functional innovation, and shaping measurement strategies at the core of high-tech production.
Your activity
- Conduct metrology activities, including incoming inspection and measurement of customer parts for applications and production support, as well as preparation and validation of our machines
- Draft reports and perform analyses for both internal and external customers
- Address non-conformities related to incoming inspections in collaboration with supplier quality
- Ensure maintenance, calibration (internal/external), and traceability of machines and measuring equipment, under the responsibility of the Metrology Department
- Maintain and improve KPIs related to the Metrology Department
- Support and advise other departments in the acquisition of measuring equipment
- Ensure proper alignment between our measurement tools and the evolution of our developments
- Ensure compliance with metrology and safety procedures, and adapt them as needed
- Collaborate closely with other departments on ongoing technical issues, projects, or prototypes in development
- Participate in client discussions in support of the Sales team
- Use and program measurement machines (Werth, Keyence, Jenoptik, Microvision, etc.)
- Validate embedded measurement systems on our R&R products
- Actively contributes to continuous improvement and optimization of inspection methods
Your profile
- Technical degree or HES engineering diploma in quality or microtechnology with experience in metrology, or equivalent education/experience
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting ISO GPS dimensioning and tolerancing
- Knowledge of programming (WinWerth software is a plus) and basic understanding of industrial statistics
- Capable of using and understanding technical software (ERP, CAD, etc.) and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Precise, conscientious, autonomous, good communicator, and open to change
- Methodical and comfortable with documentation and work standardization (knowledge of Lean Management is a plus)
- Fluent in French and English; German is a plus
